Bellavista Cloudforest Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival to Bellavista Cloudforest Lodge

6:30 AM departure from your hotel in Quito. Arrival and breakfast at Bellavista lodge. Naturalist guided hike, settle in to your room, and lunch. Afternoon: Forest hike – discover the ecology of this mysterious cloudforest followed by bird watching and dinner at Bellavista where you can also enjoy the lodge’s facilities.

Day 2 - Cloud forest Exploration

Early morning birding hike – pre-dawn departure followed by Breakfast; Hike to a waterfall hidden in the forest; or explore the self-guided trail, followed by lunch. Afternoon: Further options for easy hikes or adventures, alone or with a guide! At night dinner back at your cloudforest lodge.

Day 3 - Bellavista Birdwatching

Early morning birding hike followed by breakfast. Your choice of one of the 20+ optional activities offered by the lodge. These can be arranged in advance through Ecuador and Galapagos Insiders or at the lodge itself. Lunch. Afternoon: Siesta. 3 PM departure from Bellavista lodge back to Quito. Arrival at your Quito hotel at around 5 PM.
